Throughout the Summer

Evenings in Appleby Garden Concert Series
Sing, swing, and sway along to an eclectic musical mix at the free concert series at the Appleby Branch Library every Tuesday at 8 p.m. through June 26.

Movies on the Common
Pre-movie activities begin at 7:30 p.m., and the movie will screen at dusk. Free screenings this summer include Paddington Bear 2, Despicable Me 3, and The Lion King.

Augusta Market at the River
Every Saturday at the 8th Street Bulkhead come and explore hand made art, jewelry and crafts, local produce and baked goods and enjoy breakfast and coffee or lunch from local food vendors. During warm weather, kids may play in the fountain. Pets on a leash are welcome.

Moonlight Music Cruises
Pack a picnic & enjoy a relaxing evening on the Augusta Canal!

Music in the Park
The free, hour-long outdoor concerts will be held in North Augusta’s Maude Edenfield Park each Thursday May 10 through July 12 at 7 p.m.

June Events    

June 13-17

USA Cycling & Para-cycling Masters Road National Championships
Biking competitors from all over the nation will compete at Fort Gordon and downtown Augusta. Spectators may attend to for free and cheer on the competitors.

Juneteenth Events

Band of Brothers is celebrating Juneteenth the weekend prior to the national holiday (6/19). Attend the Juneteenth Day Gala on Saturday, and on Sunday, the family-friendly Juneteenth Celebration will take place at May Park.

June 22 & 23

Augusta Pride
Pride comes to Augusta this summer, with three main events in downtown Augusta during this weekend. Beats on Broad is a concert on Friday night. On Saturday, celebrate by watching the Augusta Pride Parade on Broad Street, and then head to the Augusta Common for the Augusta Pride Festival.

June 24

Westobou Festival Lineup Release Party
Westobou brings you an evening of fun to announce the 2018 Westobou Festival lineup. Enjoy free outdoor movies on the SRP ball field and be sure to snag a Festival pass at Early Bird prices.

Dan & Phil World Tour
Youtubers Dan and Phil present their new stage show – Interactive Introverts. Two internet-dwelling, insecure nerds standing under the spotlight to give the people what they want: an epic interactive experience of rants, roasts, battles, stories ..and surprises that will make you laugh, cry, cringe and puts the audience in control unlike anything before!

Second Saturday on the Square
The farmers market will be set up for shopping, live bluegrass music will be playing, and there will be crafts for the kids. Try the wine tasting while perusing the sales at Edgefield General Store. Families will love the bounce house and a special screening of Space Jam at Edgefield Baptist. This event is open to the public.

The Goodbye Road Tour
Sirius XM Coffeehouse presents Johnnyswim, Drew Holcomb & the Neighbors, and Penny & Sparrow at the Bell Auditorium.

July 20 through 22

Heathers the Musical
A darkly adaptation of the film in which Veronica Sawyer, a brainy, beautiful teenage misfit who hustles her way into the most powerful and ruthless clique at Westerberg High - "the Heathers."

Art Night in Augusta
A group of local artists open their downtown studio to the public on third Thursdays for a live art event called Art Night at Pink Slips Analog.
