Fourth of July in Augusta, GA

Augusta's River Region celebrates Independence Day in style with concerts and fantastic fireworks displays, live patriotic music and summer fun for the entire family.

Fort Gordon's Independence Celebration

July 1 | 5-11 pm 

Spend the evening of July 1 celebrating our nation's freedom. This one day event includes a carnival, shopping, food, live entertainment and so much more. The night ends with a firework extravaganza unrivaled by anyone in the CSRA. Pre-sale for food and beverage tickets are available beginning June 19 at the MWR Directorate Office (Building 28320, Lane Avenue).

Independence Day at Meadow Garden 

We welcome you to join us for Independence Day at Meadow Garden, home of George Walton, signer of the Declaration of Independence. Enjoy FREE tours of this historic home with docents in period dress. You and your family can explore history with children's activities, revolutionary war soldiers' camp items, and live music. 

Fireworks in SRP Park

July 3 & 4 | Post Game 

Join the Augusta GreenJackets as they celebrate the Fourth of July and America's favorite sport on July 3 & 4 in SRP Park. Firework celebration will commence directly after the finishing of each game. 

Boom! in the Park

July 4 | 5-11 pm 

Join us as we celebrate our freedom on July 4th at Boom! in the Park! The fun starts at 5 pm at Evans Towne Center Park. Live music by headliner Whiskey Run, food trucks, and fireworks- a night of fun for the whole family!

Independence Day Celebration

July 4 | 5-11 pm 

The City of Augusta will host an Independence Day Celebration at the Augusta Common from 5pm to 9 pm. Fireworks will begin at 9:30 pm from the 5th St. Bridge.
