Downtown Augusta

Popular attractions, restaurants & nightlife in Downtown Augusta

Downtown Augusta is home to many of Augusta’s most popular attractions, locally owned restaurants and nightlife. Affordable public parking and walkability make exploring downtown easy. From March through November, the Augusta Market brings local and regional tastemakers and artisans of all kinds to the 8th Street entrance to the Riverwalk.

Broad Street runs smack-dab through the center of downtown Augusta and it’s a pleasant path to stroll. Once considered among the widest in the country – hence the name “Broad” – the street today boasts walkability, historical significance, artistic flair, and loads of eclectic retailers. Augusta & Co., Augusta's Experience Center, is also located on Broad Street. Stop by and say hello – we’d be happy to help you plan your time here or send you home with a little piece of our city.
