Downtown Holiday Lights & Decorations Tour
Take a ride through festive downtown Augusta to view the holiday lights. You can also take a walk down Broad Street to view the businesses participating in the Making Spirits Bright Downtown Decorations Crawl, which is a window decorating contest for the holiday season starting on Saturday, Dec. 4. Use our interactive map to view participating locations, vote on your favorite decor then stop by Augusta & Co. Voting ends on January 1, 2022.
Christmas Parades & Tree Lightings
Gather family and friends for holiday tree lightings and parades throughout Augusta's River Region. Here we know how to deliver the magic of the holiday season like no other. December is known for holiday events that include tree lightings, parades, holiday lights displays, holiday performing arts shows, holiday-themed activities, and more. Enjoy our annual Augusta Christmas Parade on Saturday, Dec. 11 at 6 p.m.
A Festival of Nine Lessons & Carols
The Guild of Sacred Heart Cultural Center presents the annual Christmas event, A Festival of Nine Lessons & Carols on Thursday, Dec. 9 The production is under the direction of Keith Shafer and is based on the traditional English Christmas program that originated at King’s College Chapel, Cambridge University, England. The night will feature leaders in the community as readers of the nine lessons and St. Paul’s Church Choir and the Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School Chorale will sing a collection of carols and hymns. Tickets are $25.
Historic Holiday Tours
During the month of December, The Boyhood Home of President Woodrow Wilson will be decorated for Christmas in the style of the 1860's with fresh evergreens and festive decorations.
December tours of the Boyhood Home of President Woodrow are offered Wednesday - Saturday except for December 24th and 25th when the museum will be closed. Reservations are required for the guided tours and are limited to six people. Tours begin on the hour from 10 am to 4 pm.
Westo-Boutique
Come shop from a curated selection of local + regional vendors at the Westo-boutique by Handmade Fair at the Westobou Gallery from December 6 - 17. Event proceeds benefit Westobou + Augusta Handmade Fair. Admission is FREE.

Visit Augusta & Co. for the Mistletoe Market on Saturday, Dec. 18. Grab some gifts and last-minute stocking stuffers from several businesses located in Augusta's River Region. Pop-up shops allow shoppers to meet business owners buy gifts that are just right for the holiday season.
