Communities across Augusta's River Region are celebrating the season with parades, tree lightings and events for the entire family.
Bring your family and friends! There will be Christmas music, cookies and hot chocolate and SNOW!
Where: Edgefield Town Square, Edgefield, SC 29824
When: Friday, November 23 at 6:30 p.m.
Live holiday music by local school bands and a fire for roasting s'mores in the courtyard at Lookaway Inn with the tree lighting around 6 p.m.

When: Tuesday, November 27 from 5 - 7 p.m.
No matter what holiday you celebrate this season, everyone is encouraged to join in for some fun and festive activities. There will be children’s crafts, hay rides, a bonfire, as well as cookies, candy and refreshments. Enjoy live entertainment and Christmas carols as we prepare to light the tree! Get your holiday shopping done at the Kris Kringle Market, where there will be gift and craft vendors galore!

Celebrate the holidays with a special evening on Newberry Street in downtown Aiken. There will be music, crafts, refreshments, and a countdown to the lighting of the tree, as well as a special appearance by Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Decorate cookies, make Christmas ornaments, take pictures with Santa, ride the Christmas train, and see fireworks? Join us this Friday for the 2018 Christmas Light-Up Spectacular and the first concert of the Peace for the Holidays series.

Visit the annual Columbia County Christmas Tree lighting and stroll through the full Christmas vendor village, free Santa photos, free train rides, ice skating, and more!

The City of Grovetown presents the 43rd Annual Christmas Parade.
Where: Begins on Horizon South Pkwy (starting at John Huffman Way), turning right onto Wrightsboro Rd and ending at the intersection of Robinson Ave. and Wrightsboro Rd. (Walmart Neighborhood Market), Grovetown, Ga 30813
When: Saturday, December 1 from 10 a.m. - Noon
This event will include entertainment by local bands, dance and chorus groups. Take your picture with the Big Man in the Red Suit, Santa, and as a special treat, he’s bringing the SNOW. There will also be crafts, food and other vendors available. Enjoy a cup of hot chocolate as the Tree and all of the other holiday lights within the City are lit.

The North Augusta Lions Christmas Parade brings the 2018 theme, Christmas Around the World, to life in downtown North Augusta.

The Merchants Association of Columbia County presents the 53rd Annual Christmas Parade.
Where: Begins at Belair & Washington Road and continues down Cox Road, Evans, Ga 30809

The Summerville Campus hosts its annual tree lighting ceremony. Festivities include photos with Santa, caroling with the Augusta University choir, holiday crafts, trolley rides across campus, food trucks, and refreshments.

The Aiken Jaycees’ Christmas Parade brings the 2018 theme, Fairy Tale Christmas, to life on the streets of downtown Aiken.
