United States President Woodrow Wilson lived here from 1860-1870, the longest period spent in one residence, while his father served as pastor of the First Presbyterian Church. Tours on the hour. Groups of 10 or more, please call ahead.

Walk with the Spirits

During 45 minute tours of this historic cemetery, costumed guides lead the way while discussing the history of the cemetery and interesting facts about the “spirit” that they are portraying.  Along the route additional notable citizens from Augusta’s past will share their stories.  Walk with the Spirits will take place rain or shine.  Advance reservations are requested. Tours begin every 20 minutes.

Candlelight Tours of the Boyhood Home of President Woodrow Wilson

Celebrate the holiday season with a tour of the Boyhood Home of President Woodrow Wilson, a National Historic Landmark. Enjoy the house decorated for the holidays with fresh evergreens and festive decorations.  Tours of the Boyhood Home of President Woodrow Wilson during the month of December will incorporate details about what Christmas was like during 1917, at the start of World War One.

Christmas tours of the Wilson House, at the regular admission price of $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, and $3 for students, are offered Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays throughout the month of December. The home will be closed December 24 and 25. Tours are guided and begin on the hour from 10 am to 4 pm.

A special Candlelight Tour will take place on Friday, December 1, and Saturday, December 2 from 5 – 7 pm, with tours offered every 30 minutes. See history come to life by candlelight! Festive refreshments will be served on the evening of the Candlelight Tour.
