St. Patrick's Day in Augusta
From early morning dance parties to the downtown parade and concerts, there are plenty of ways to celebrate St. Patrick's Day around Augusta's River Region.
AUGUSTA TRADITIONS
Augusta's St. Patrick's Day Parade
The City of Augusta will be “rolling out the Green Carpet” downtown to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day! The St. Patrick’s Day Parade begins at 2 p.m. as is immediately followed by a festival on the Augusta Common. The parade is free and for all ages and begins at 2 p.m. from the 7th Street James Brown Arena parking lot. The parade will take our traditional route to Telfair St., up to 11th, then turning right onto Broad Street, and then back down to 6th Street where we will return to the James Brown Arena Parking lot.
Augusta's St. Patrick's Day Festival
Immediately following the parade through downtown Augusta, a FREE festival will take place at the Augusta Common! Friends With Benefits Productions is thrilled to partner with the Irish-American Heritage Society and the City of Augusta for this family-friendly community event.

Wake & Shake: St. Patrick's Day Edition
Get up and get moving at Humanitree House for a morning of dancing and fun. Grab a juice or something from the breakfast menu before catching the parade downtown.
Beer Yoga
Come on down to Savannah River Brewing, Co. - grab a few pints and get a good workout in! Admission includes the yoga class and beer First time attendees should arrive at 11 a.m. to allow time to fill out the waiver and secure a spot.
Bend and Brew
Bend & Brew Yoga at The Alley Downtown Taproom in Aiken is donation based. This is a community that is light-hearted and fun regardless of your budget. What to Bring: We DO NOT provide yoga mats or props. Please remember to bring whatever you may need for your practice, but most definitely a mat! We are usually outside, so may need extra padding for your knees.

Augusta Market at the River
Every Saturday at the 8th Street Bulkhead on Augusta's Riverwalk, come and explore hand made art, jewelry and crafts, local produce and baked goods and enjoy breakfast and coffee or lunch from local food vendors. Musicians from Augusta's River Region set the mood with live music. Runners can meet for a morning run with the Triple 8 Run Group. During warm weather, kids can play in the fountain. Pets on a leash are welcome.
Wearing of the Green
If you wear green on St. Patrick's Day, stop by the Smith-Hazel Recreation Center in Aiken to receive a prize. The cost is free and this event is open to all ages.
Sláinte | Saint Patrick's Day Concert
On the evening of Saint Patrick's Day, the Augusta Choral Society will present a fun evening of Irish Music at Sacred Heart Cultural Center. Irish Musicians led by Carl Purdy and dancers from the Drake Irish Dance Augusta will perform.

ShamROCK The Miller
Join The Miller Theater for a celebration featuring four local bands, plenty of drink specials and surprises a plenty! Doors open at 4:00pm with music starting at 4:30 p.m. Kids 12 & Younger Free until 5 p.m.
St. Panick's Day Concert
At Sky City, Machine Funk, a Tribute to Widespread Panic, with Special Guest SCHEMA will perform. Event is for ages 21 and over.
Carla Cox ShamRock ShakeDown Show
The Edge Nightclub will hold a St. Patrick's Day party hosted By the Carolina Queen Carla Cox. The night will start with cocktails and the hottest top 40 mix, and then transition to some entertainment with Carla Cox and her special guest entertainers.
St. Patty’s Day Concert with Daniel E. Johnson
