Meadow Garden

Meadow Garden was the home of George Walton, one of the youngest signers of the Declaration of Independence. The historic house museum has been open to the public since 1901 and is a National Historic Landmark and on the National Register of Historic Places. Please visit this historic treasure in Augusta! Guided tours are available Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. with the last tour starting at 3:15.

Christmas at Meadow Garden

Step back in time and join us for a guided candlelight tour of the home of George Walton, Signer of the Declaration of Independence. The historic house museum will be decorated for the season in 18th century fashion.
All tours are be appointment only. Please call 706-724-4174 to schedule your tour. To ensure physical distancing, we will limit the number of visitors in each tour to six individuals. All visitors are required to wear a mask while on the tour.
