Hopelands Gardens

This 14 acre estate was opened in 1969 as a public garden. Radiating throughout the gardens is a network of paths shaded under 100 year old live oaks. The lazy curves of the paths and garden borders lead visitors throughout a wonderful variety of experiences sure to please visitors of all ages. Attractions within the gardens include: -Stone and sand/dirt pathways -Fountains -Reflection Pool -Rock Fountain -Dollhouse (home of the Aiken Garden Club) -Oak Alley -Stage -Touch and Scent Trail -Labyrinth -Gazebo -Pond (no fishing or swimming) -Wetlands -2 swings -3 decorated “Horseplay” statues -Garden sites available for rental -Aiken Thoroughbred Racing Hall of Fame & Museum

Instill a love of reading in your child that will last a lifetime. Hopelands Gardens offers the perfect atmosphere for an afternoon story and fun with friends. This season's theme is "All Things Spring." Meet at the Sand Pation. Rain location will be Odell Weeks Activities Center.
