ParTee On The Green: a community dance party and new Augusta Golf tradition
American Bandstand meets Soul Train meets Shag City meets Teen Town in this #AugustaGolf tradition, an amazing Celebration of Community.
ParTee On The Green is a dance party with music for all ages – beach, soul, pop, jazz, house, reggae, R&B, funk. Feature performances by community dance groups, a DJ mashup, line dance finale, and live band.
Featured artists and performers are: the Eastern Star Dance Theatre, Drum Circle Augusta, Dancing Through the Skirt, DJ BIZZO BEATS, The Soul Sliders of Augusta, and more. JAMP (James Brown Academy of Musik Pupils) will headline the event with the sounds and spirit of the Godfather of Soul and native son, James Brown.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
This is an all-ages event.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Public transportation, Uber are available. Parking is available on the street, but we suggest the City parking deck at the corner of James Brown Blvd & Reynolds Street.
What can/can’t I bring to the event?
Bring friends. Leave pets and coolers. Oh yeah, bring money for the vendors and parking.
Is this event a fundrasier?
Not really; however, a portion of proceeds from this event and the Labor Day Jazz Weekend is earmarked for the James Brown School of Musik Pupils.
