Bringing Up a President 
Check out this NEW Authentic Augusta Experience, Bringing Up a President - Tea with Mrs. Wilson on August 2 at The Boyhood Home of Woodrow Wilson. You’ll meet Mrs. Woodrow Wilson, mother of President Woodrow Wilson as she welcomes you as a guest into her home. You’ll also meet her neighbor Mrs. Lamar and hear how two mothers raised a President and a Supreme Court Justice. Admission is $25.

Candlelight Music Series
Don’t miss the Candlelight Music Series on August 4, 11, 18, and 25 at The Augusta Common from 7:30-10:00 p.m. This is one of the city’s premier music events hosted by Cher Best every Sunday. Enjoy music from local and regional bands. Admission is $10. Kids 13 and under are FREE.

Promenade & Paint 
Check out this NEW Authentic Augusta Experience, Promenade & Paint - Augusta's Public Art on August 6 at The Augusta Common. Take a walk-through Downtown Augusta with guide Michael Wolff and learn about Public Art through select sculptures, murals and more. Guests will meet in the Augusta Common and view the 4 new sculptures with the Augusta Sculpture Trail, walk along Broad St. to 8th, stopping for murals and arts history along the way. Admission is $45.

Dinner Detective Comedy Mystery Dinner Show
Enjoy the Dinner Detective Comedy Mystery Dinner Show on August 10 and 24 at DoubleTree by Hilton. These engaging and unique murder mystery dinner theatre performances have been playing across the country since 2004. Join us for an evening full of intrigue, hilarity, and unscripted moments you simply can’t find anywhere else. Tickets are $59.99.

Augusta Beerfest 
Cheers to Augusta Beerfest! On August 10 at the iconic Bell Auditorium at 3:00 p.m. for the ultimate craft beer celebration in Augusta's River Region! Hosting over 100 beers from some of the best breweries in the country. Admission starts at $53.00.

Voices of the Past 
The second Saturday each month Joe Zukowski brings James Henry Balchin, a Petersburg Boat Captain to life with Voices of the Past on August 10 at 12:30, 1:30 & 2:30 at the Augusta Museum of History. The character of the Petersburg Boat Pilot is based on oral histories provided by Elberton, Georgia resident, Mr. 'Buck' Balchin, about his grandfather, James Henry Balchin, who from the mid-nineteenth century until 1900, crewed and piloted cotton boats from Petersburg to Augusta. Admission is FREE with membership, $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, and $3 for kids.

The Garage Event Series 
Presented by the Georgia Cyber Innovation & Training Center, The Garage Event Series will teach you how to make homemade home decor using 3D Printers, CNC Machines, and Laser Cutters. Join them on August 14 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Admission is FREE.

Experience Augusta Night
Here's to you Augusta! Augusta Greenjackets and Destination Augusta have partnered together to celebrate the best things about our community at Experience Augusta Night! Cheer on the Greenjackets as they play one of their last few home games against the Fayetteville Woodpeckers on Thursday, August 15 at 7:05 p.m. This family-friendly activity has something for everyone. Enjoy great food, a kid's zone, giveaways, and more. Tickets are $10-$16.

Movies at the Miller
Everyone loves a classic movie! Enjoy Movies at the Miller featuring How To Train Your Dragon on August 18 at 4:00 p.m. at the Miller Theater. Reservations are required. Admission is FREE.

The Great Southeast Pollinator Census
Georgians of all ages from all over the state will join efforts to document our pollinators on August 24 at Phinizy Center & Nature Park from 9:00-11:00 a.m. The Southeast Pollinator Census is a historical initiative where Georgians will record the numbers and types of pollinators that populate our state during late summer. Come out to the swamp to help us count our lovely, buzzy pollinators. Admission is FREE.
