how can we help?

Downtown Augusta

Downtown Augusta is home to many of Augusta’s most popular attractions, locally owned restaurants and nightlife. Affordable public parking and walkability make exploring downtown easy.

First Fridays are a monthly celebration of Augusta’s fun and funky spirit with live music and performances, exhibition openings and more throughout downtown. From March through November, the Augusta Market brings local and regional tastemakers and artisans of all kinds to the 8th Street entrance to the Riverwalk.

The Augusta Visitor Center is also located downtown. Stop by and say hello – we’d be happy to help you plan your time here or send you home with a little piece of our city.
