Alice Cooper pioneered a grandly theatrical brand of hard rock that was designed to shock. Drawing equally from horror movies, vaudeville, and garage rock, the group created a stage show that featured electric chairs, guillotines, fake blood and boa constrictors. He continues to tour regularly, performing shows worldwide with the dark and horror-themed theatrics that he’s best known for.

Billy Currington

Country singer and Georgia native, Billy Currington is coming to The Bell Auditorium!  Some proceeds from his concert will benefit the Augusta chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Since his self-titled debut album bowed on Mercury Records in 2003, Currington has scored eleven career No. 1 singles, most recently, “Don’t Hurt Like It Used To.” His other hits that reached the No. 1 spot include such memorable songs as “Good Directions,” “Let Me Down Easy,” “Must Be Doin’ Somethin’ Right,” “People Are Crazy,” “That’s How Country Boys Roll,” “Hey Girl,” and “We Are Tonight.” Over the years, the self-effacing Georgia boy has amassed an impressive list of accolades. He won the “Hottest Video of the Year” honor at the fan-voted CMT Music Awards for “Must Be Doin’ Somethin’ Right” in 2006. The same year, he received an ACM nod for Top New Male Vocalist. His hit duet with Shania Twain, “Party for Two,” earned nominations from both the CMA and ACM. “People Are Crazy” took Currington’s already hot career to another level. He earned Grammy nominations for Male Country Vocal Performance and Best Country Song in addition to being nominate for Single and Song of the Year from the Country Music Association.

Celebrate Mother’s Day Weekend with nine-time Grammy nominee & showman extraordinaire, Charlie Wilson!

Co-founder of iconic funk trio the Gap Band, Charlie Wilson has no intentions of slowing down. He kicked off 2015 with a new album, Forever Charlie released January 27, and his eight-week sold out Forever Charlie national arena tour. Forever CharlieWilson’s sixth solo album, locked in yet another top ten hit single for Wilson “Goodnight Kisses.” This record rings up a grand total of 18 hits thus far on a tally that also includes eight No. 1s, among them “My Love Is All I Have,” “You Are,” “There Goes My Baby,” “Charlie Last Name Wilson,” and “Without You.”  In 2015 he received two Grammy nominations—Best Rap/Sung Collaboration and Best Rap Song—for his singing and songwriting contributions to Kanye West’s “Bound 2” and yet another Grammy nomination for “If I Believe” in the Best Gospel Song category in 2014. In addition to his Grammy-nominated collaboration with Kanye WestWilson has been a much sought after mentor with numerous top singer/songwriter/producers who he considers his “nephews” including Justin Timberlake, Pharrell, Snoop Dogg and Jamie Foxx. He has added a new name to that all star list, UK soul singer John Newman. Raised by a minister father and mother, the Tulsa, Oklahoma native was a founding member of the pivotal R&B/funk trio Gap Band, which hit the charts running in the late ‘70s and ‘80s with a string of hits including “Outstanding, “You Dropped a Bomb on Me,” “Yearning For Your Love,” “Early in the Morning” and “All of My Love.” The group retired in 2010.
