Connected to the Future
Augusta, Georgia's second largest city, is in the midst of a revitalization - moving towards a future with diverse economic drivers and ready with a talented and ambitious technology workforce.
As a result of Fort Gordon's Cyber District, Augusta is home to an increasing number of technology companies. With an outstanding workforce and continued economic development efforts specific to the cyber industry, the city is a budding technology gateway and cyber hot spot.
As charming as it is eclectic, Augusta works hard and plays hard with a diverse culture of festivals and events, arts, history, and food. Learn more about Augusta and Augusta's River Region in The New Augustan magazine. Order your free copy today!

The program focuses on providing students with hands on and technical training in Cybersecurity, teaching the future cyber workforce prevention and mitigation skills in a networked environment, identifying evolving threats, applying specific security tools to prevent and deter breaches and offering networking, programming and computer support services in addition to Cybersecurity.
Major sporting events like the world's second largest Ironman 70.3 and the Augusta University Half Marathon & 10K draw athletes and their families and friends from all across the country. In addition, dynamic sports and outdoor activities like kayaking, paddle boarding, biking and hiking keep Augustans active year-round.
