The Rainmaker

At the time of a paralyzing drought in the West, a girl’s father and two brothers are worried as much about her becoming an old maid as they are about their dying cattle. Suddenly, a self-proclaimed “Rainmaker” comes on the scene. He will bring rain and break the drought if they agree to pay a hefty sum. Unlikely though his claim may be, the man eventually wins over the entire family. Eventually, the rain comes ... and so does love.

Aiken Community Playhouse (ACP) is a non-profit, volunteer, community theater dedicated to producing quality shows at reasonable prices. ACP is also a teaching theater so that people who have always wanted to "be in theater" as an actor, director, stage hand, lighting/sound person, or set designer can get hands-on training while participating in producing a show.
