Over There:  Augusta and the Great Way.  A daylong symposium featuring presentations by Dr. Russell K. Brown, Dr. James Garvey, and Dr. Huber P. van Tuyll focuses on Augusta's involvement in World War I.  $30 registration fee; optional lunch is an additional $10.  Register by November 9th by calling 706-828-3867.  Participating organizations include the Augusta Canal National Heritage Area, the Augusta Museum of History, the Augusta Richmond County Historical Society, the Center for the Study of Georgia History, Historic Augusta, Inc., the Lucy Craft Laney Museum of Black History, and the Morris Museum of Art.  The symposium is made possible in part by the Center for the Study of Georgia History.

Located on the Augusta Riverwalk, the Morris Museum of Art has AV equipment and limited catering available.
