Mary J Blige Strength of a Woman Tour with Joe & Stokley

Mary J. Blige is bringing her soul stirring old school classics and new hits to James Brown Arena on Saturday, September 16. Blige will be joined by R&B Superstar Joe Thomas & Stokley.

Blige helped redefine R&B and has become such a force in music. With a track record of eight multi-platinum albums, nine Grammy Awards (including a staggering 32 nominations) and five American Music Awards, Blige is truly a global superstar. The singer/songwriter’s musical strong suit has attracted an intensely loyal fan base—responsible for propelling worldwide sales of more than 50 million albums.

Multi-Award nominated Joe Thomas is known for hits “All That I Am,” “I Wanna Know,” and “No One Comes Close.” His memorable collaborations with 98 Degrees & Mariah Carey, Big Pun and G-Unit helped showcase his musical versatility and further sealed his reputation as an R&B Superstar.

Stokley is best known as the lead singer of one of the greatest R&B bands, Mint Condition. He was nominated for a his 1st Grammy in 2011, when he was featured on Kelly Price’s song “Not My Daddy.” He has also served as a session musician with artists such as Janet Jackson, Johnny Gill, New Edition, Usher, Toni Braxton, Prince, Jill Scott and many more. After over 20 years of signature hits including Mint Condition’s “Breakin’ My Heart (Pretty Brown Eyes)” and “What Kind of Man Would I Be” and Grammy-nominated albums, he released his dynamic solo debut, Introducing Stokley on June 23, 2017. The album has features from artists including Wale, Estelle and Robert Glasper.
