Jessye Norman School of the Arts Summer Sidewalk Music Series: Westobou (Musical Conversations)

The Jessye Norman School of the Arts will host a series of free outdoor concerts for the public from June 14th through August 16th in conjunction with the JNSA Piano Project Forte’.

Concerts will be held on the sidewalk and garden adjacent to the JNSA building at 739 Greene Street. Bring a chair and a cooler and enjoy some of Augusta’s best talent almost every Friday afternoon this summer. (No concert on July 5th.) Concessions will be available, but feel free to bring your own.

The Jessye Norman School of the Arts is an after school program designed to develop and nurture the artistic and creative talents of students. The School of the Arts serves the cultural and educational needs of these traditionally under-served youth. The Ann and Ellis Johnson Gallery of Art was dedicated in September of 2015 to Ann and Ellis Johnson in recognition of their tireless work and support for the arts and for the children of the CSRA. They are an inspiration for our entire community and clearly represent something larger than themselves in all they do. We are grateful for their continued support of the Jessye Norman School of the Arts as well as for their numerous other civic contributions. Ann and Ellis Johnson Gallery of Art: Hours: Wed, Thurs, Fri 12-3pm Saturdays by appointment. (706)828-7768 Please use our 8th Street entrance.
