Garden and Trail Cleanup - Your State Parks Day

Mistletoe is seeking volunteers to tidy gardens and trails for the fall season. Volunteers will be able to choose their own challenge whether picking up litter on the Rock Dam or pulling weeds in the garden behind the office. Meet at the Nature Center at 9:00 a.m. for instruction. Bring sturdy shoes, water, gloves and hand tools.

Located on 71,100-acre Clarks Hill Lake near Augusta, this park is known as one of the finest bass fishing spots in the nation. Boat ramps provide easy access to one of the Southeast’s largest lakes. During the summer, guests can cool off at the sandy beach or on miles of shaded nature trails. Many programs are hosted throughout the year, such as astronomy programs, concerts and nature walks.
