Fezziwig's Ball

Join Mr and Mrs. Fezziwig as they present Augusta's 4th Annual Christmas Ball, straight out of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol.  Let us take you back in time to the romantic Regency period, to the days when Ebeneezer Scrooge was a young man working for jolly old Mr. Fezziwig.

The ball will take place in the beautifully decorated Rotunda of the Augusta Museum of History.  Come and be entertained with performances by The Augusta Players of the new holiday classic, A Christmas Story the Musical.  The evening will feature sumptuous treats--savory and sweet, libations, music and dancing and a whole cast of costumed Dickens characters.

Don't miss the fun evening of Holiday Merriment!  Period attire is admired but not required!  For more information, call The Augusta Players at 706.826.4707!

Visit the region's home for history.  Featured are a number of permanent exhibitions, including the award-winning Augusta's Story - a 12,000-year journey through local history; a restored 1917 steam locomotive, special exhibits: "The Godfather of Soul, Mr. James Brown," "Celebrating a Grand Tradition, the Sport of Golf," and five life-size statues of golf's greatest players and much, much more.
