Evenings in Appleby Garden Concert Series

Run for the Hills 5K
Conquer the hills by running a 5K on the Greystone Preserve, a private 262-acre nature preserve packed with beautiful scenery, mature oak-hickory forests, tranquil creeks with granite outcroppings, and endangered wildflowers.

Second Saturday on the Square
The farmers market will be set up for shopping, live bluegrass music will be playing, and there will be crafts for the kids. Try the wine tasting while perusing the sales at Edgefield General Store. Families will love the bounce house and a special screening of Space Jam at Edgefield Baptist. This event is open to the public.

Croquet for Ballet
Return to an era of elegance and enjoy playing mini-golf croquet. A delicious selection of sandwiches, fruits, and cheeses will be available throughout the event.

USA Cycling & Para-cycling Masters Road National Championships
Biking competitors from all over the nation will compete at Fort Gordon and downtown Augusta. Spectators may attend to for free and cheer on the competitors.

Juneteenth Events

Band of Brothers is celebrating Juneteenth the weekend prior to the national holiday (6/19). Attend the Juneteenth Day Gala on Saturday, and on Sunday, the family-friendly Juneteenth Celebration will take place at May Park.

June 22 & 23

Augusta Pride
Pride comes to Augusta this summer, with three main events in downtown Augusta during this weekend. Beats on Broad is a concert on Friday night. On Saturday, celebrate by watching the Augusta Pride Parade on Broad Street, and then head to the Augusta Common for the Augusta Pride Festival.
