We are enjoying this new fall weather in Augusta, with a few new recently opened spots for you to visit. As usual, we're suggesting all spots with good food, great drinks, and even better photo ops.

A View from the Top is Always Better
Edgars Above Broad is Augusta's newest rooftop lounge and restaurant. This place is a few week's shy of its September grand opening and has quickly become one of our favorite spots for a fall date night. Don't forget to snap one for the 'Gram in front of April Henry King's mural that is pictured above.
Augusta's Got Sol
SolFood Kitchen is a locally owned wellness cafe that just recently opened it's doors to Augusta. Specializing in the conscious creations of colorful foods & drinks influenced by a mosaic of cultural cuisines, this new gem offers comfort foods that not only taste good to you, but are good for ya. Be sure to snap a quick photo at their beautiful "sun-inspired" mural painted by Stephanie Forbes.
A Spec-taco-ler Place
Be sure to add Cantina Locale to your list of places to visit this fall. What to order? Grab their chicken nachos with a margarita to pair and let the good times roll.
Public Art Might Be Our Thing
Augusta is filled with so many unique and creative murals and we're adding just a couple to the art scene. Be sure to add the following new murals to your list:
- James Brown mural painted by Cole Phail on the corner of James Brown Blvd and Broad Street.
- Aort Reed's newest Jean-Michel Basquiat inspired mural located just off Greene Street at 11th Street.
- Jay Jacobs' most recent mural located off Broad Street at 11th Street.
We want to be in on all this "Instagrammable" magic so don't forget to use the hashtag, #loveaugusta on your posts.
We encourage our visitors and locals to practice safe social distancing while exploring our beautiful city, and to continue following recommendations for travel, sanitation, and safety given by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). For more information, view our guidance on masks and social distancing.
