Stock-Up on Augusta Beverage Essentials
Drinking AND supporting our local businesses? We're all in. With taprooms and breweries closed, we're compiling a list with the best ways to stock-up on all your adult beverage essentials from local breweries and distilleries.
Grab the Gin: 2nd City Distilling Co. may have temporarily closed its doors, but no need to fear, you can still order all your mixing needs and pickup curbside. Choose from their selection of vodka, gin, rum and whiskey for your adult beverage needs. P.S. They'll bring your order out for curbside pick-up!
Brews To-Go: Fill up your growler or be sure to grab a six-pack of local brews from Savannah River Brewing Co. or Riverwatch Brewery (or both). ProTip: These local favs will deliver your order curbside to you AND load your car!
ProTip: All the restaurants and breweries listed above provide curbside pickup!
We have the BEST recipe for your at-home happy hour needs, with a splash of citrus because we know you need that Vitamin C boost right now!
- 1½ to 2 ounces of a not-necessarily-sweet base spirit. We suggest vodka or gin from 2nd City Distilling Co. or Fruitland Vodka.
- ¾ ounce of citrus (such as lemon or lime juice), whose vitamin C is great for immunity
- ½ to ¾ ounce of simple syrup to sweeten things up. (Simple syrup, as its name suggests, is simple to make. Just boil equal parts sugar and water until they liquify together.)
