Raisin AJ Productions and the Augusta based non-profit organization “I’m Aware” have teamed up to present the Highly Anticipated Stage Play “Stolen Life.”
Human Trafficking: Organized criminal activity in which human beings are treated as possessions to be controlled and exploited.“
Stolen Life” tells the story of Chasity Cross who was raised in Augusta Georgia by her grandmother Celeste. Like a lot of teens, over time Chasity became rebellious. On her 16th birthday after a dispute with her grandmother she ran away. Subsequently, Chasity met Tina, another runaway who introduces her to Cachous “Cash” King. He is infamous in Atlanta for coercing young girls into the vicious world of Human Trafficking.
In “Stolen Life” character by character and scene by scene, the after effects of bullying and experiences of hatred, jealousy, betrayal and secrets will unfold ALL… in one day…Chasity’s 18th birthday. You will see lives changed and lives saved in this thought provoking production “Stolen Life” will teach the real life lesson that just because you don’t SEE IT, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.
“Economics tell us that if we eliminate the demand we can prevent the production of supply; yet, the elimination of supply will do nothing to prevent the demand for sex with underage girls."
Raisin AJ Productions will enlighten the community on the subject of Human Trafficking with hopes of stopping it one life at a time. Written by Playwright and Radio Personality Miss Monique, “Stolen Life” is a StagePlay that should be seen by all ages
