Description:

Explore the historic and natural surroundings of the Augusta Canal National Heritage Area on Discovery Walks conducted by subject-matter specialists and last about an hour and a half.

September 1780: The First Siege of Augusta: Steven Rauch, Military Historian at US Army Signal Center of Excellence, Fort Gordon GA ,  adjunct Instructor at Georgia Regents University, will lead a walk through an important Revolutionary War site, the scene of the first siege of Augusta.
